It gives us immense pleasure to invite you all to “DOA-1st Orthopaedic Oncology CME” to be held on Sunday, 21st July 2019 at India Habitat Center, New Delhi organized by Delhi Orthopaedic association and co-hosted by Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre and IMSOS.
Primary bone sarcomas pose a diagnostic challenge more often than not and the impact of wrong procedures in these tumors cannot be overemphasized.
Orthopaedic Oncology has undergone a major shift from purely a surgical based practice to multidisciplinary groups for the management of bone sarcomas. This CME highlights the role of Ortho-Radio-Patho (ORP) sessions as well as of multidisciplinary groups (Sarcoma tumor board) in diagnosis and treatment of these malignancies.
The content of the program is targeted towards residents and practicing orthopaedic surgeons. The CME has few focused lectures followed by ORP sessions/ Panel discussion to enhance case based learning.
